Located in a quiet residential area in the vincinity of the West Coast Road of Singapore is a little marine aquarium shop owned by a popular man in the marine aquarium scene. His name is Henry, the friendly shopowner who made henry’sreefgourmet popular amongst some die-hard marine aquarists. And the shop name is MarineLife Hobbielist (“MLH”).
Henry imports in interesting marine fish directly from other countries worldwide at least once a month. Price tags varies depending on the rarity of the species which are all approved by our Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore. Emphasis are placed in acquiring livestock from reliable drug-free sources such as MAC certified collectors and countries known to enforce strict rulings on the use of drugs for fish collection.
The air-conditioned shop has two nice display marine aquariums with a good variety of fish and invertebrates available for sale. For the newbies to the marine aquarium hobby who wishes to check out this LFS which opens every day of the week, MLH is at 178 Hong Leong Garden Shopping Centre, West Coast Way.
